RESP Guide Canada does not currently offer user accounts, email signup, comments, payments, or a contact form. The site does not ask you to enter personal information to read guides, compare providers, or use calculators.
Calculator inputs, such as contribution amounts, child age, province, or assumed rates of return, run in your browser. They are not submitted to this site, saved to a site account, or used to identify you. If you save a child profile in the RESP planner, it is stored only in this browser's local storage under resp-guide-planner-profiles — delete the profile in the planner, or clear site storage in your browser settings, to remove it. A saved profile can prefill other calculators on this device (age, province, income band, amounts); nicknames stay on the planner page and are never sent anywhere.
Analytics
RESP Guide Canada uses Google Analytics through Google tag ID G-BQTX46G54G to understand aggregate site usage, such as which pages are visited and whether site navigation is working.
Consent first
No analytics runs by default: the Google tag library does not load and no analytics request leaves your browser. There is currently no consent banner, so on-site measurement stays off entirely — aggregate usage is reviewed only through Google's own reporting interfaces, never through scripts on this site. Calculators always run in your browser either way.
Your past choice, if any, is saved only on your own device as resp-guide-consent in local storage. Clearing this site's local storage and cookies in your browser settings removes it. With no banner present, the site does not act on any stored choice to load measurement scripts.

Advertising status
Advertising is not currently enabled on RESP Guide Canada. The site does not currently display ads.
If ads are added later
If an advertising network is added in the future, this policy will explain the relevant privacy practices. Third-party ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, limit, and measure ads. Those ads may be based on prior visits to this site or other websites, depending on the visitor's settings and the ad provider's rules.
Visitors can manage personalized ad settings through Google Ads Settings. Browser cookie controls, privacy extensions, and device privacy settings may also affect analytics and advertising cookies.
